Band boosters plan 'Epicurean Night' at Clear Lake High

The Clear Lake Falcon Band Booster Club will hold its second annual "Band, Bites & Buys" event on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.

The evening will feature music performed by all of the band students in small ensembles, food provided by several local restaurants and a silent and live auction.

Dinner will be served from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. During this time guests will be able to eat, listen to music and view the silent auction items available, which include section baskets with various themes put together by the students, restaurant gift certificates, dog training, spa packages, books and much more.

After all of the ensembles are finished performing, the live auction will take place which will include a home theater package, a laptop computer package, a one-year family membership to the YMCA and a conductor's package, which allows the winner to conduct the wind ensemble at the spring concert.

Meal tickets are $12 each and provide the opportunity to eat from all the restaurants participating in the evening. Restaurants participating are Pomodoro's, Genghis Grill, Colosseum Italian, Papa John's, Mediterraneo Market & Cafe, Pei Wei, Potbelly, Mario's, Dickey's BBQ, Wings 'n More, Bullritos, Zio's Italian Kitchen, Thai Cottage, Ben & Jerry's and Cafe Express.

Volunteers are still needed to help with the evening, desserts and silent auction items.

The event will be held at the Clear Lake High School Auditorium and Commons, located at 2929 Bay Area Blvd.
