League City Police Department blotter, Feb. 21
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Feb. 20 and the early hours of Feb. 21:
ASSAULT
Feb. 20, 1:52 p.m.: Kenneth Denton, 41, was arrested on a charge of assault by contact and evading arrest or detention in the 3500 block of West Main Street.
BURGLARY
Feb. 20, 1:44 p.m.: A woman reported items as stolen from a storage unit in the 2400 block of West Marina Bay Drive. A padlock was reportedly cut and a door pried open to gain access.
Feb. 20, 6:23 p.m.: A woman reported a purse as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of South Gulf Freeway. The side window was reportedly shattered to gain access.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Feb. 20, 4:42 a.m.: Larry Rodriguez, 18, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 2700 block of South Gulf Freeway.
DRUGS
Feb. 20, 3:22 p.m.: A female, 17, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 2600 block of Santo Domingo Drive.
FORGERY
Feb. 20: A woman reported a known person used her name and personal identifying information to purchase a vehicle from Clear Lake Nissan sometime between July 5 and Jan. 11.
HARASSMENT
Feb. 20, 4:00 p.m.: A woman living in the 2200 block of Cibola Road reported a person harassed her by calling multiple times and leaving messages.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Feb. 21, 12:16 a.m.: Alexander Nguyen, 38, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 2800 block of Custer.
Feb. 21, 3:09 a.m.: Richard Lindsey, 45, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 500 block of SH 646 West.
VANDALISM
Feb. 20, 8 a.m.: A man reported damage to his mailbox at his home in the 2000 block of North Williamsburg Court.
