Clear Lake HS grad Green helps Houston Baptist win first conference game
Megan Green, a Clear Lake High School graduate, scored 17 points as the HBU women's basketball team won its first conference game on the season, a 71-66 triumph over visiting NJIT Thursday evening at Sharp Gym.
Green added four rebounds, four steals, and three assists to her solid performance.
Green, a junior guard, averages 7.2 points per game and has made a team-high 46 three-points shots on the season.
Green was named Newcomer of the Year at Clear Lake HS. During her career with the Falcons, Green was named First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention All-District.
Megan Adrianna Sherrie Green, born Aug. 24, 1990, is the daughter of Scott and Maria Green.
