League City Police Department blotter, Feb. 16

The League City police reported the following incidents between Feb. 15 and the early hours of Feb. 16:

BURGLARY
Feb. 15: A man reported a GPS navigation system and laptop as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2500 block of Leisure Lane.

Feb. 15, 11:44 a.m.: A woman reported a laptop as stolen from her home in the 1700 block of East League City Parkway. The locked door was reportedly forced open to gain access. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 150 to 180 pounds with black, slicked back hair.

Feb. 15, 3:28 p.m.: A man reported items as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Fourth Street.

HIT AND RUN
Feb. 15: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 1700 block of FM 528. The driver of a blue or green Ford SUV allegedly hit the man’s vehicle on Feb. 12 and then left the area without providing the necessary information.

THEFT
Feb. 15: A woman living in the 2200 block of Marina Way reported several pieces of diamond jewelry as stolen from her home some time between Feb. 6 and Feb. 11.

Feb. 15: A woman living in the 1400 block of Caine Hill Court reported a relative stole jewelry from her home some time between September 2010 and Feb. 13.
