Fundraiser in Kemah planned for ailing musician, deejay
A fundraiser for John "Prince" Hourani, a well-known local deejay and musician, is set for noon Saturday, Feb. 19, at Jackie's Brick House, 1053 Marina Bay Drive in Kemah. The event will include live music, food and a silent auction. Auction items are needed.
Hourani, 47, who is without medical insurance, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
Hourani helped organize the jazz ensemble and was the first drummer for San Jacinto College South's San Jazz South.
