Local HS grads play well for Sam Houston State in loss to McNeese State
Several local high school grads had solid efforts, but McNeese State defeated Sam Houston State 73-63 Monday.
Clear Creek alum Lance Pevehouse scored 10 points, hauled in four rebounds, tallied two assists, garnered two steals and blocked a shot in the loss.
Pevehouse was a three-time All-District guard for coach Buddy Carlisle and League City Clear Creek.
He was a District MVP and All-Region as senior in 2006 where he averaged 16.3 points per game and 4.3 assists per game.
Pevehouse led his squad to district titles both as a junior and a senior.
He is the son of Danny and Susie Pevehouse.
