HS girls basketball: Friendswood falls to Lamar Consolidated
Friendswood lost to Lamar Consolidated 58-56 in high school girls basketball action on Monday.
Down by five entering the last quarter, Lamar Consolidated came on strong to pull out the two-point victory.
Lamar Consolidated ups its record to 13-8 on the season and 8-4 in district play.
Petrolina Chilaka had a big game with 27 points to lead her team to the victory.
Friendswood falls to 16-11 on the season and 10-2 in district play.
Kellsey Kaufhold scored 18 points in the loss.
