First 'Crazy Krewe' family event to be held March 5 in Webster
The Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families will host the inaugural "CRAZY Krewe" event on Saturday, March 5.
The family-friendly, Mardi Gras-themed event is a day-long celebration that includes a 5K run, a kiddie parade, the Crescent City carnival and the Jackson Square Bazaar. There will be free games for the kids, crafts and entertainment.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear View Education Center, located at 400 S. Walnut in Webster. The 5K run will start at 8 a.m.
For the last seven years, the Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families’ mission has been to unite and mobilize a community compelled to create an alcohol- and drug-free culture for the youth.
