Clear Brook drumline and color guard members to conduct electronic recycling drive
The Clear Brook High School Drumline and Color Guard, along with Electronic Scrap Recycling (ESR) of Houston, will hold an electronic recycling drive on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Items being collected are PC towers, monitors, cables from computers and other electronics, cell phones, cell phone batteries, printers, cordless phones, surge protectors, old extension cords, Christmas lights and laptops. No televisions will be accepted. Items are considered a donation, and a tax receipt will be given for donations.
To protect the safety and privacy of people making donations, ESR will shred all hard drives at the facility, but they can be destroyed when dropped off upon request.
The drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clear Brook High School, located at 4607 FM 2351 Road in Friendswood.
