HS boys soccer: Friendswood defeats La Marque
Friendswood overpowered La Marque 6-0 in District 43-4A high school boys soccer action on Friday.
Goalkeepers Michael Rich, Alex Hart and Joey Naymik combined on the shutout victory for the Mustangs.
The win ups Friendswood to 12-4-0 on the season and 3-0-0 in district play. Friendswood will next host Manvel on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops La Marque to 0-1-0 on the season and 0-1-0 in district play. La Marque will next host Galveston Ball on Friday at noon.
