HS girls soccer: Clear Lake defeats Clear Springs
Clear Lake defeated Clear Springs 2-0 in District 24-5A high school girls soccer action on Friday.
Brittney Wade and Rachel Smith both scored a goal to lead the Falcons to the victory. Goaltender Brooke Bourbonais kept the Chargers from scoring.
The win ups Clear Lake to 9-2-2 on the season and 4-0-0 in district play. Clear Lake will next visit Clear Brook on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The loss brings Clear Springs to 7-3-1 on the season and 2-1-0 in district play. Clear Springs will next host Dickinson on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
