Rebuild Houston meeting on drainage moved to Monday
A Houston City Council committee meeting on the new Rebuild Houston drainage program has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. Monday.
The meeting, which was twice postponed this week for bad weather, will convene at 3 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 901 Bagby St.
Rebuild Houston is the program that voters approved Nov. 2 as Proposition 1.
The City Council Flooding and Drainage Committee, chaired by Councilman Stephen C. Costello, will hear a presentation on implementation of Rebuild Houston by Andy Icken, the city’s chief development officer, and Daniel Krueger, director of the Public Works and Engineering Department.
The meeting will also include public comment.
After the meeting, the Rebuild Houston presentation will be available at http://www.houstontx.gov/council/1/fdcommittee.html.
