Friendswood planning officials to take a bus tour
Members of Friendswood's Planning and Zoning Commission will spend much of
next Wednesday touring city facilities and other sites in a bus.
"This trip will give them an opportunity to visit some of the sites they
talk about at meetings," says Assistant City Manager Nick Haby. "They'll
look at things like lift stations, water plants, different facilities, so
they can simply have a chance to see some of these areas that they discuss."
The Commission's tour will start at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of City Hall,
and Haby says they'll be out "most of the day."
