These thieves must be handy around the house

Thieves have gone to a lot of trouble to steal some strange loot this week in Clear Lake.
In Friendswood, police reported that two men made off with $1,500 in plumbing supplies from Coburn's in the 300 block of South Friendswood Drive.
The pair showed up around 1:30 p.m. Monday claiming to work at a Houston plumbing company and dressed in uniforms similar to the ones worn at that company. The thieves obtained the supplies by using purchase order information from the Houston company that later turned out to be fraudulent.
In League City, Seamless Gutters in the 900 block of Farm Road 1266 was hit twice by thieves, who took nothing the first time and the second time got away with a boat air-conditioner and a siding break machine.
League City police said the break-ins were reported on Monday and Tuesday by the owner, who arrived at the business both days to find a side door pried open. The first break-in resulted only in a file cabinet being opened and files left in disarray.
