HS girls soccer: Clear Creek defeats Brazoswood
Clear Creek toppled Brazoswood 2-1 in District 24-5A high school girls soccer action on Tuesday.
Brazoswood had a 1-0 lead heading into the half, but Clear Creek came on strong to win the match.
The win ups Clear Creek to 3-3-2 on the season and 1-2-0 in district play.
Kristi Leonard and Courtney Hassmann both kicked in a goal for the winning team.
Clear Creek will next host Pearland on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Brazoswood to 9-3-1 on the season and 2-1-0 in district play.
