FHS to stage The Music Man starting Feb. 18
A local high school will celebrate 43 years of musical history by performing Meredith Wilson's The Music Man, opening Feb. 18.
The Music Man portrays the adventures of grifter Harold Hill and his adventures in small-town Iowa.
Jeff Allison and Audrey Bounds play the lead roles of Harold Hill and Marian Paroo.
Other actors include Meredith DuBose, Chris Hailey, Abbey Griffon, Josh Karam, Blythe Dever, Mason Conrad, Brian Gallagher, Vinnie Mahal, Nathan Stevens, Peter Kaminsky, Caleb Wimer, Katie Barton Haley Holtje, Lindsey Landers, Stephanie Porter, Haden Holtje, Noelle Zoch, Cam Morris, Justin Barringer, Zach Brinkman, Michael Gregory, Aaron Holloway, Jon Olansen, Mason Patterson, Noah Peden, Tommy Stuart and Connor Tones, according to the press release.
Directors include Dr. Myrlene Kennedy, Amy Thornton and Janwin Overstreet-Goode, choreographer Ashley Caterina, accompanist Leta Horan and music director Julio Sanchez.
The musical will open on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. with shows following on Feb. 19, 25 and 26, also at 7 p.m. There will be a 2:30 p.m. performance on Feb. 27.
Tickets are available at the door for $7 per person.
