Friendswood Police Department blotter, Feb. 7

The Friendswood Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 31 to Feb. 6:

BURGLARY
Feb. 2, 8:17 a.m.: A school bag, textbooks and wallet were reported as stolen during the previous night from an unlocked vehicle in the Forest of Friendswood subdivision in the 400 block of Scenic View Drive. Surveillance video at a local department store showed two white male suspects using a credit card from the stolen wallet at about 2:45 a.m. that morning.

Feb. 2: An iPhone was reported as stolen from another unlocked vehicle in the Forest of Friendswood subdivision in the 200 block of trail Bend Lane. The burglary reportedly happened between 4 p.m. on Feb. 1 and 7:15 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Feb. 3, 4:30 p.m.: Glassware was reported as stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of Apple Blossom Lane. There were no signs of forced entry.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Feb. 5, 4:41 p.m.: No charges were filed after a Friendswood mother, 54, reported that her teenager struck her in the face. The mother was driving her three children to an event in the 16000 block of Blackhawk Boulevard when the teenager hit her and ran from the vehicle. The teen was found by police and transported home.

IDENTITY THEFT
Feb. 3, 11:02 a.m.: A resident in the 2400 block of Mountains Falls Court reported fraudulent activity on her credit report after an account was opened using her identifying information.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE
Feb. 4, 9:11 a.m.: A resident in the 200 block of Brigadoon Street reported that a debit card was used to make an unauthorized transaction in another state on Jan. 24.

Feb. 4, 1:15 p.m.: A resident in the 15700 block of Wandering Trail reported an unauthorized transaction from a bank account to an online retailer.

Feb. 5, 4:25 p.m.: A resident in the 1800 block of Lakeside Lane reported three unauthorized transactions, occurring at the end of January, from a bank account to various online retailers.

DRINKING WHILE INTOXICATED
Feb. 1, 3:27 a.m.: Derrick Joseph Diotalevi, 20, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 400 block of East Parkwood Avenue. An officer reportedly detected the smell of alcohol, and Diotalevi admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.

Feb. 2, 1:20 a.m.: Ramon Daniel Calderon, 22, of Pearland, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of West Parkwood Avenue. He failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .166 on a breath test.

Feb. 2, 2:13 a.m.: Kathryn Ann Bennett, 26, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped her for a traffic violation in the 300 block of East Parkwood Avenue. She failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Feb. 4, 2:39 a.m.: Benjamin Murry Ward, 52, of Pearland, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped her for a traffic violation in the 100 block of North Friendswood Drive. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Feb. 4, 10:46 p.m.: Zachary Dane Bankston, 24, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police observed him driving erratically in the 500 block of North Friendswood Drive. He reportedly failed a field sobriety test, was found to have a suspended driver's license and refused to submit to a breath test.

Feb. 6, 2:17 a.m.: Javier Morales Lozano, 49, of Pearland, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 800 block of North Friendswood Drive. He failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .211 on a breath test.

Feb. 6, 11:34 p.m.: Joseph Andrew Arthur, 42, of La Porte, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 15 after police observed him driving erratically in the 4000 block of FM 2351. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test. An intoxicated adult passenger and a 12-year-old child were transported by a third party. Police drove Arthur to a local hospital to obtain a specimen of his blood, since driving while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 15 requires a mandatory blood draw when a breath test is refused.

FALSE IDENTITY, OUTSTANDING WARRANTS
Feb. 1: Amanda Jodie Sital, 27, of Alvin, was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant.

Feb. 5: Olivia Elena Matta, 33, of Pasadena, was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant.

Feb. 6, 2:18 p.m.: Police were in the 16600 block of Forest Bend Avenue investigating a report of two masked men near Wedgewood Elementary when they found Michael James Connelly, 19, of Friendswood, and arrested him on a charge of providing a false name. Police identified Connelly and his accomplice, Jacob Geir Premeaux, 24, also of Friendswood, as the masked men in question. Connelly also was arrested for six outstanding municipal warrants. Premeaux was arrested on a charge of interfering with public duties.

FICTITIOUS REGISTRATION
Feb. 2, 2:32 p.m.: Francisco Morales Valenzuela, 42, of Houston, was arrested on a charge of driving with a fictitious vehicle registration after police noticed that his vehicle had different and suspicious front and rear license plates and no windshield registration sticker. Valenzuela reportedly admitted to officers that he had purchased the fictitious registration "on the street."

FORGERY
Feb. 2, 9:10 p.m.: Raymundo Torres, 19, of Friendswood, was arrested on a felony charge of forging a government record after police stopped him in the 100 block of West Edgewood Drive and found him to be in the possession of a fake Resident Alien Identification Card. Torres reportedly told police he had the identification card so he could work.

INVALID/NO LICENSE
Jan. 31: Anna Michelle Sporleder, 31, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license.

Jan. 31: Morgan Regina Myers, 23, of Houston, was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license and was held on six outstanding traffic warrants from the Webster Police Department.

Feb. 1: Michael Jerome Hill, 21, of Friendswood, was arrested on charges of driving with no license and no insurance.

Feb. 2: Jimmy Guzman, 23, of Houston, was arrested on charges of driving with an invalid license and no valid commercial driver's license.

Feb. 2: Daniel R. Charles, 27, of Heritage Park, was arrested on charges of driving with no license and no insurance.

Feb. 4: James Howard Sisson, 37, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Feb. 5: Christopher Dale Whitworth, 38, of Houston, was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license and held for two outstanding traffic warrants from the League City Police Department.

Feb. 6: Bryan A. Scott, 46, of La Porte, was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license.

Feb. 6: Esteban Erasmo Molina, 18, of Rosharon, was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license.

Feb. 6: Daniel Garcia, 42, of Alvin, was arrested on charges of driving with no license and no insurance.

NARCOTICS
Jan. 31, 9:25 a.m.: Annie Laurie Scott, 44, of Alvin, was arrested on charges of possessing marijuana and possessing a controlled substance. She was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of South Friendswood Drive. During the stop, the officer smelled marijuana and saw Scott trying to conceal a baggie of marijuana in her pants. The officer also found her to be carrying the anxiety medication alprazolam, commonly known as Xanax, without a prescription.

Feb. 2, 2:15 a.m.: Nicholas Andrew Perez, 19, of Houston, was arrested on a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 17000 block of Barcelona Drive. The officer reportedly saw an open container of alcohol and smelled marijuana. During a subsequent search, the officer found a small baggie with a trace amount of the drug on Perez.

Feb. 2, 10:56 p.m.: Mark Allan Summerlin, 20, of Santa Fe, was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 1300 block of West Parkwood Avenue. He admitted to having marijuana in his vehicle.

Feb. 3, 10:21 p.m.: Ivory Lee George, 25, of Houston, and Twanta Denise Battle, 37, of Houston, were arrested on charges of marijuana possession after they were stopped for a traffic violation in the 4800 block of FM 2351. The officer reportedly smelled marijuana in vehicle and, during a subsequent search, found two bags of marijuana.

Feb. 3, 10:26 p.m.: Stephen Forrest Whitsett, 43, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 5000 block of FM 2351 and found a crack pipe in the vehicle.

Feb. 4, 4:04 p.m.: Michel Cullen Potter, 24, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of possessing a controlled substance and driving with an invalid license. Potter was reportedly involved in a disturbance in the 700 block of Greenbriar Street and later was located driving in the 1500 block of Sunset Drive. Police reportedly found Adderall, two pipes, a digital scale and pill bottles containing marijuana residue in his vehicle.

Feb. 5, 10:40 p.m.: Tiffaney Leeann Hunter, 30, of Alvin, was arrested on charges of possessing a controlled substance and possessing a dangerous drug after police found her passed out in a vehicle in the 1500 block of Oak Hollow Drive. She reportedly had in her possession Xanax, hydrocodone and the muscle relaxant Soma, all without prescriptions.
