Friendswood seeks assistant for senior center
The City of Friendswood is seeking applications for a full-time assistant manager to help oversee the Friendswood Senior Citizen Program.
The program is located in the Friendswood Activity Building, 416 Morningside Drive. The position involves coordinating activities under the direction of the senior program manager, assisting with volunteer and instructor supervision, and driving a 20-passenger bus.
Candidates must have a high-school diploma and three to five years of related experience working with seniors. The City of Friendswood prefers candidates with a bachelor's or associate degree in parks and recreation and one to three years of experience in municipal government.
The annual salary for the position is $26,728 to $40,102, depending on qualifications.
