Harbour Playhouse to stage Woody Allen comedy

Humphrey Bogart (Mike Fabian) appears to Allan Felix (Brian Treybig) while Allan anxiously tries to talk with his best friends wife, Linda Christie (Stacey Turner).

The Bay Area Harbour Playhouse will stage the Woody Allen comedy Play It Again, Sam starting Friday, Feb. 11, and running through Sunday, March 6.

The play tells the story of Allan Felix, who has just been through a messy divorce. His two friends, Linda and Dick, attempt to convince him to go out with women again. He agrees and starts receiving dating advice from the ghost of Humphrey Bogart who is visible and audible only to Allan, who also imagines conversations with his ex-wife, Nancy, about the breakdown of their marriage.

The show starts at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday matinees.

Tickets are $17 and $12 for students and seniors at the door. Special group rates are available. Reservations are suggested.
