League City announces weather schedule changes

League City will keep its City Hall and Helen Hall Library closed Friday,
and the library's warming station has been closed.

The city says the Public Works and Public Safety departments will both be at
work through Friday. It is still waiting for word on garbage service from
its garbage contractor, Ameriwaste.

All city parks are closed and all city-sponsored sports events, both indoor
and outdoor, are canceled for Thursday night and Friday. City parks are
scheduled to re-open on Saturday.

The city will also be posting further weather-related updates on its website.
