HS girls basketball preview: Friendswood vs. La Marque
Friendswood will battle La Marque in girls basketball action on Friday.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at La Marque.
La Marque has a 16-12 record on the season and is 6-4 in district play. On Tuesday, La Marque beat Santa Fe, 54-41, as Jessieka Palmer scored 15 points.
Friendswood is 14-10 on the year and 8-2 in district. On Tuesday, Friendswood lost to Dawson, 41-36, as Kellsey Kaufhold scored 14 points.
After Friday’s game, La Marque next plays Texas City on Tuesday.
Friendswood next plays Manvel on Tuesday.
