City of Friendswood offers warming center
Friendswood residents who lose heat in their homes during power outages can
seek refuge at an emergency warming center this week.
It's located at the Friendswood Activity Center, 416 Morningside. The
center's number is 281-482-8441.
The city says that power outages are expected to last 45 minutes at a time
in alternating periods.
