HS girls basketball: Clear Springs defeats Clear Brook
Clear Springs trounced Clear Brook 76-44 in District 24-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Clear Springs took a 15-point lead in the first quarter and kept the game out of reach the rest of the way.
The win ups Clear Springs to 28-2 on the season and a perfect 12-0 in district play.
Mileka Loydrake led her team in scoring with 23 points.
Clear Springs will next host Clear Lake on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Clear Brook to 12-13 on the season and 6-6 in district play.
Senior Ariell Callis registered 15 points in the loss.
Clear Brook will next visit Clear Lake on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
