HS girls basketball: Clear Lake defeats Alvin
Clear Lake destroyed Alvin 63-25 in District 24-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Clear Lake took a 12-point first quarter lead and never let Alvin in the game.
The win ups Clear Lake to 18-4 on the season and 11-1 in district play.
Alex Kochner led her team in scoring with 13 points.
Clear Lake will next visit Clear Springs on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Cy-Fair to 17-10 on the season and 9-2 in district play.
Hannah Callaway registered seven points in the loss.
Cy-Fair will next visit Clear Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
