Speed networking event in League City approaching fast
The League City/Friendswood Small Business Owners will host a Speed Networking event on Monday, Feb. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Speed Networking gives those attending two minutes to introduce themselves and tell their story, then the person across from them has two minutes to do the same, and then a whistle sounds telling everyone to stand up and move on to the next person.
The free event is intended to help people make more business contacts in one night than normal, perfect their "30 Second" pitch and take part in face-to-face networking.
The event will take place at South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center, which is located at 2500 South Shore Blvd.
