Friendswood Police Department blotter, Feb. 1
The Friendswood Police Department reported the following incidents between Jan. 24 and Jan. 31:
BURGLARY
Jan. 24, 3:44 p.m.: Tools were reported as stolen from a locked trailer on a construction site in the 4400 block of FM 2351. The lock to the trailer also was reported as missing.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Jan. 26, 8:05 p.m.: Giovanni Whitehead, 26, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of assault after an argument with his wife turned physical at Bay Meadows Apartments, 17201 Blackhawk Blvd.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Jan. 26, 1:55 a.m.: Daniel Durbin, 21, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 3500 block of FM 528. He failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .185 on a breath test.
Jan. 28, 1:19 p.m.: Brian Sullivan, 18, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor. Responding to a complaint of a possibly intoxicated driver, police stopped Sullivan in the 200 block of East Parkwood Avenue. He reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody.
Jan. 28, 11:42 p.m.: Kim Harvey, 55, of Alvin, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and racing on a highway after police observed him racing another vehicle in the 500 block of East Parkwood Avenue. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to provide a breath sample.
Jan. 29, 3:01 a.m.: Zachary Mayes, 21, of Nacogdoches, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police observed him driving erratically in the 100 block of North Friendswood Drive. He failed a field sobriety test and submitted a blood sample for testing.
Jan. 29, 3:42 a.m.: Santa Rangel, 34, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped her for a traffic violation in the 1100 block of West Parkwood Avenue. She failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .157 on a breath test.
Jan. 30, 2:17 a.m.: Darrell Bailey, 32, of Alvin, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 800 block of West Parkwood Avenue. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to provide a breath sample. The arresting officer found a bag of marijuana in the vehicle during an inventory search. The vehicle was towed.
Jan. 30, 2:16 a.m.: Deadrian Henry, 25, of Rosharon, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 4100 block of FM 528. He failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .154 on a breath test.
Jan. 30, 2:35 a.m.: Robert Kash, 29, of Pearland, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 1400 block of FM 528. He failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .170 on a breath test.
Jan. 31, 12:13 a.m.: Garren Dixon, 22, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after police observed him driving erratically in the 1900 block of West Parkwood Avenue. Dixon failed a field sobriety test and refused to provide a breath sample.
IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD
Jan. 24: A resident reported unauthorized use of a prepaid credit card.
Jan. 27: A resident reported unauthorized use of her bank card information. She was still in possession of the physical card.
NARCOTICS
Jan. 29, 12:18 a.m.: Daniel Martinez, 23, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession after police stopped him for a traffic violation in the 5100 block of FM 2351. Martinez admitted to police that he was in possession of the drug.
THEFT
Jan. 26, 10:20 p.m.: A purse was reported as stolen from a locker at 24-Hour Fitness, 130 W. Parkwood Ave.
Jan. 26, 6:46 p.m.: A resident reported that her credit card had been used multiple times without her permission at Webster-area businesses after she left it at a restaurant in Webster.
Jan. 27, 5:30 p.m. Deborah Gutierrez, 49, of League City, was arrested on a charge of stealing a belt from Style Junkie Boutique, 124 S. Friendswood Drive. Police found her at her residence, where she admitted to the crime and produced the stolen belt.
