Swindler leads Friendswood to boys title

Led by Brandon Swindler's individual district win, the Friendswood Mustangs head into the Class 4A Region III Meet as the 24-4A team champion.
Swindler was followed by teammates Ryan Teel, second, and Levi Tessler, fourth, to capture the Mustangs' 16th-straight boys title.
The Friendswood girls, who finished second, will join 24-4A girls champion Dawson for regionals.
The 4A girls go off at 11:40 a.m. and the 4A boys start at noon on Saturday at Lone Star College North Harris.
