HS boys basketball: Friendswood takes down South Houston
Friendswood defeated Pasadena South Houston in the Gulf Coast Classic on Tuesday.
The Mustangs won the game 62-50, moving to 8-5 on the season. Friendswood will play their first District 24-4A game against Galveston Ball on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s tournament loss dropped Pasadena South Houston to 12-7 on the year.
South Houston will host Humble Kingwood Park on Friday at 1 p.m. District 22-5A action starts against Deer Park on Jan. 14.
