Friendswood Police Department blotter, Dec. 27

The Friendswood Police Department reported the following incidents from  Dec. 20 through Dec. 25:
 
ASSAULT:
Dec. 22, 6:39 p.m.: Chelsea Holloway, 21, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of assault by contact. Police say Holloway was involved in an argument with family members in the 1100 block of Londonderry. When officers arrived, they say Holloway was in an active physical altercation with her mother.

Dec. 23, 6:28 p.m.: Dennis Stephens, 25, of League City, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police say Stephens was involved in a physical altercation with a female acquaintance in the 4400 block of Maple in League City. The incident allegedly continued when the woman left League City and drove to Friendswood. Stephens is accused of attempting to run the woman off the road in the 3400 block of West Bay Area Boulevard by ramming his car into her car several times.

BURGLARY:
Dec. 20, 3:50 a.m.: A burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Meadow Bend in The Forest subdivision. A window was reportedly smashed to gain entry. The owner reported nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle.

Dec. 21, 6:20 p.m.: A burglary was reported at a home in the 100 block of East Spreading Oaks. An unknown person reportedly opened a door and ransacked the home. The owner reported nothing appeared to be missing from the residence.

Dec. 22, 8:43 p.m.: A purse was reported as stolen from a vehicle parked at 24 Hour Fitness, 130 W. Parkwood. The window was reportedly shattered to gain access to the purse left on the front floorboard.

Dec. 22, 10:23 p.m.: A window was reported as shattered at a home in the 5100 block of Bentwood Lane in Wedgewood subdivision. The owner reported nothing appeared to be missing from the residence.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED:
Dec. 20, 12:55 a.m.: Natalie Martin, 25, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of Prairie Wilde. She is accused of failing a field sobriety test and registering a blood alcohol content of .161 on a breath test.

Dec. 22, 3:01 p.m.: Claudia Oropeza, 42, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated near the intersection of FM 2351 and Beamer Road. She is accused of failing a field sobriety test and refusing to submit to a breath test.

Dec. 25, 12:23 a.m.: Melissa Fruge, 42, of Magnolia, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 700 block of West Parkwood. She is accused of failing a field sobriety test and refusing to submit to a breath test.

DRUGS:
Dec. 20, 7:08 p.m.: Robert Beery, 26, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Police say they stopped Beery in the 1700 block of FM 528. The 26-year-old was arrested on a charge of driving on a suspended license and outstanding warrants. Officers say they found hydrocodone in his possession during the arrest.

EVADING ARREST:
Dec. 21, 1:22 a.m.: Kevin Rahe, 19, of Pearland, was arrested on a charge of evading arrest. Police say Rahe appeared to be intoxicated while walking in the 200 block of Brandywyne in Whitehall subdivision. Officers who stopped to talk to him say they found Rahe to be in possession of a drug pipe. The 19-year-old allegedly ran from police. He was located a short time later in the 200 block of Dover after a citizen reported seeing a man running. Rahe was also arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

THEFT:
Dec. 21, 8:27 a.m.: The tires and rims were reported as stolen off a Chevrolet truck parked in the 5100 block of Tashkent.

VANDALISM:
Dec. 20, 7:00 a.m.: Windows were reported as shattered on several vehicles parked in the 100 block of Royal Court in Imperial Estates subdivision, the 600 block of Tanglewood Drive in Dunbar Estates subdivision and at The Bedford Apartments, 110 Dunbar Estates Drive.

Dec. 22, 7:31 p.m.: A window was reported as shattered on a vehicle parked at Stevenson Park, 1100 South Friendswood Drive.
