League City Police Department blotter, Dec. 27

The League City Police reported the following incidents on Dec. 24 through Dec. 26:

ASSAULT
Dec. 26, 6:45 p.m.: A sexual assault and theft were reported at a home in the 900 block of West FM 517. Police say a 22-year-old man and 23-year-old man entered the home. One of the men is accused of having sexual intercourse with a juvenile female. The other is accused of stealing a diamond ring, purse, wallet and sunglasses from the house.

BURGLARY
Dec. 25, 7:45 a.m.: A car stereo was reported as stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of West Main Street.

Dec. 25, 1:45 p.m.: A burglary was reported at a home in the 300 block of North Wesley Drive. The homeowner reported an unknown person entered the home, but nothing was stolen.

Dec. 26, 3:30 p.m.: A purse and cell phone were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of East Main Street. The driver’s side window was reportedly shattered to gain access.  

Dec. 26, 11:15 p.m.: Several items were reported stolen from a home in the 3000 block of West Marina Bay Drive. The homeowner reported the front door was forced open to gain access.

THEFT
Dec. 24, 3:25 p.m.: A cell phone was reported stolen from the owner’s pocket while at Walmart, 1701 W. FM 646.

Dec. 24, 9:30 p.m.: An inflatable snowman was reported stolen from in front of a home in the 2900 block of Laguna Shores Lane.

Dec. 26, 7:10 p.m.: A Glock 21 firearm was reported as taken from a home in the 3000 block of Gardencrest Lane without the owner’s permission. Police say a relative of the victim is a possible suspect.

VANDALISM
Dec. 24, 10:40 p.m.: Vandalism of a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Holly Fern Drive. The owner reported an unknown person shot two holes through the vehicle’s driver’s side window.

Dec. 25, 1 a.m.: Vandalism of a home and vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Stonewall Drive. The owner reported an unknown person threw eggs at the front door of his home and his Ford F150.

Dec. 26, 8:30 p.m.: Vandalism of a vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of Downing Circle. The back window of a vehicle was reportedly shattered by an unknown weapon.

HIT AND RUN
Dec. 24, 9 a.m.: A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 800 block of Louisiana Avenue. Police say a driver damaged a home’s brick mailbox but left the scene without providing the necessary information.

Dec. 24, 3:41 p.m.: A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 2600 block of South Gulf Freeway. Police say a white pick-up truck, possibly a Chevy, backed into another vehicle. The crash caused damage, but the driver of the truck allegedly left the scene without providing the necessary information.
