Sonic in League City reports forged check
League City Police are investigating a report of a forged check passed at a fast food restaurant.
An employee at Sonic says a man presented the $20 check as payment for an order at about 12:30 Monday afternoon.
The check was determined to be forged and was reported to officers. League City Police say they have identified the 26-year-old Alvin man they believed passed the check but have not made any arrests in the case.
