HS Boys Basketball: Clear Brook topples Goose Creek
Clear Brook defeated Baytown Goose Creek Memorial in boys high school basketball on Tuesday.
The Wolverines beat the Patriots 80-65, moving to 11-4 on the season. Jarek Player, a senior forward, scored a game-high 28 points in the win.
Clear Brook will visit League City Clear Creek on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.
The Patriots loss dropped them to 9-7 on the season. Tyrone Smith, a junior scored 18 points in the loss.
Next up for Goose Creek is the Alvin Lions Holiday Classic on Tuesday at noon.
