League City Police Department blotter, Dec. 20

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Dec. 17 and the early hours of Dec. 19:

ASSAULT:
Dec. 18, 1:20 a.m.: Adrian Chavez, 21, was arrested on a charge of forced entry at a home in the 3000 block of East League City Parkway. A woman living there says Chavez broke into her home and assaulted her. He also is accused of interfering with an emergency telephone call during the alleged incident.

BURGLARY:
Dec. 17, 6:48 a.m.: A woman reported a mailbox and pole were removed from her yard in the 100 block of Wood Hollow Drive.

Dec. 17, 7:14 a.m.: A man reported a mailbox and pole were removed from the ground and damaged in the 2700 block of Tallowood Drive.

Dec. 17, 8:17 a.m.: A woman reported a mailbox and pole were stolen from her yard in the 2700 block of Wood Hollow Drive.
 
Dec. 17, 3:45 p.m.: Guitars, amplifiers and art were reported stolen from a home in the 700 block of Elmore Drive. A window on the side of the home was reportedly broken to gain access.

Dec. 18, 10 p.m.: A Panasonic stereo system was reported as stolen from a Chevy Suburban parked in the 100 block of North Gulf Parkway.
 
Dec. 19, 8:53 a.m.: Items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2800 block of East League City Parkway.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED:
Dec. 18, 3:06 a.m.: Clarence Copeland, 18, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 2100 block of Landing Boulevard.

DRUGS:
Dec. 17, 12:21 a.m.: Jafar Layegh, 23, was arrested on a possession of marijuana charge in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

Dec. 18, 3:07 a.m.: Jordan Gergle, 19, was arrested on a possession of marijuana charge in the 2500 block of Potomac Drive.

Dec. 19, 2:48 a.m.: English Hinojosa, 23, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and possession of marijuana in the 6200 block of South Shore Boulevard.

HIT AND RUN:
Dec. 17, 11 a.m.: A man reported his vehicle was hit by another vehicle while parked in the 3200 block of Sand Reef Lane. He says the driver responsible for the crash did not stop to report the incident or provide any identifying information.

Dec. 17, 5:59 p.m.: A motorcyclist reported he was hit from behind while stopped at a traffic light in the 2700 block of East FM 518. The man says a red Jeep Liberty or Jeep Patriot hit him and kept driving.

Dec. 18: 5:09 p.m.: The driver of a Chevrolet S-10 pick-up truck reported a bronze Chevrolet Blazer hit the front quarter panel of his vehicle. The driver of the Blazer reportedly left the scene of the crash without exchanging information.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION:
Dec. 19, 2:33 a.m.: John Neal, 43, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 2100 block of West Main Street.

THEFT:
Dec. 18, 9:43 p.m.: A woman reported a cell phone was stolen from the 100 block of East Walker Street.

Dec. 19, 5 a.m.: League City Police recovered a GMC pick-up truck reported stolen from the 3800 block of East FM 518. The vehicle was allegedly driven by the suspects during a burglary reported in the 2800 block of East League City Parkway.
