Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake offers bountiful schedule
The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake, 2000 NASA Parkway in Nassau Bay, has announced a full schedule for January.
The center hosts Jazz Night the second Thursday of each month.
Admission is $5 at the door, and drinks will be available for purchase.
The center will present An Evening of A Carnival of Cirque at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16.
The reception will take place at Space Center Houston, 1601 NASA Parkway.
Tickets cost $100 per person, and sponsorships are available.
National performers from Canada's Cirque Magnifique will perform.
In addition, the center will present The Arts Alliance Outstanding Artist and The Kay Burnett Outstanding Friends of the Arts awards.

The center's Movie Night will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.
This month's feature will be Some Like it Hot in honor of actor Tony Curtis, who died in September.
Admission is free, but a $2 donation is encouraged. Drinks and snacks are available for sale.
Movie Night is held the third Thursday of most months.
Also offered at the center is a wide range of fine arts classes for adults and children.
Imagination Station, for instance, is a free program for children ages 5 and older.
The art courses, which are from 10 to 11 a.m. the second Saturday of the month, are taught by board member Rosalind Perez.
