Friendswood Police Department blotter, Dec. 20

The Friendswood Police Department reported the following incidents between Dec. 15 and Dec. 19:

BURGLARY:
Dec. 15, 7:33 a.m.: A woman reported jewelry and a pillowcase were stolen from her home in the 100 block of Royal Court in Imperial Estates. She says the alarm company called to alert her to a possible burglary. The woman reportedly went home and discovered a door to her house open and her dog outside.

Dec. 15, 3:52 p.m.: A Genie garage door opener was reported stolen from a home being remodeled in the 1600 block of Brill in Keystone Meadows subdivision.

Dec. 16, 9:30 p.m.: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of 24-Hour Fitness, 130 W. Parkwood. A window was reportedly shattered to gain access to the purse setting on the rear floorboard. A credit card from the purse was allegedly used to make an unauthorized purchase before the owner discovered her purse was missing.

Dec. 17, 6:10 p.m.: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at The Goddard School, 1650 Friendswood Lakes Blvd. A window was reportedly shattered to gain access to the purse setting on the front seat.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Dec. 18, 6:09 p.m.: Reem Musallam, 23, of Friendswood, was charged with assault causing bodily injury - family violence. He is accused of physically assaulting a family member during an argument in the 3400 block of Queensburg Lane.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED:
Dec. 15, 2:30 a.m.: Theodore Lamp, 26, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in 1700 block of FM 528. He is accused of failing a field sobriety test and registering a blood alcohol concentration of .162 during a breath test.

Dec. 15, 6:13 p.m.: John Ritter, 25, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 15500 block of Edenvale. He is accused of failing a field sobriety test. Ritter allegedly refused to submit to a breath test.

Dec. 18, 11:55 p.m.: Kerron Ward, 21, of Sweeny, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and evading arrest. He is accused of speeding away from officers in the 100 block of West Parkwood before eventually coming to a stop in the 4000 block of FM 528. Ward allegedly failed a field sobriety test and registered a blood alcohol concentration of .172 during a breath test.

Dec. 19, 1:47 a.m.: Luis Rodriguez, 24, of Houston, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 1300 block of FM 528. He is accused of failing a field sobriety test and registering a blood alcohol concentration of .146 during a breath test.

Dec. 19, 2:19 a.m.: Carmen Sandoval, 21, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 900 block of West Parkwood. She is accused of failing a field sobriety test and registering a blood alcohol concentration of .232 during a breath test.

DRUGS:
Dec. 15, 12:48 a.m.: April Russo, 20, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers say they stopped Russo for a traffic violation in the 3500 block of FM 528 and smelled an odor of burning marijuana in her vehicle. A passenger, Joshua Andrews, 18, of Alvin, allegedly admitted to having pot and was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.  

Dec. 15, 12:08 p.m.: Robert Lane, 19, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 100 block of North Friendswood Drive. Officers say they took Lane into custody on an outstanding probation violation warrant and found him to be in possession of marijuana.

Dec. 19, 1:10 a.m.: Lindsey Babineaux, 23, of La Porte, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance at the Baywood Apartments, 5025 FM 2351. Officers say they responded to a report of an intoxicated woman and found Babineaux in the apartment complex laundry room. She was found to be in possession of Xanax and Hydrocodone.

EVADING:
Dec. 16, 11:25 p.m. Timothy Guinn, 50, of Palestine, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and evading arrest. Guinn is accused of ignoring an officer who tried to stop him for a traffic violation in the 16500 block of Blackhawk. Guinn allegedly led officers onto West Bay Area Boulevard and south on the IH 45 feeder road before pulling over briefly near the intersection of Nasa Parkway. Police say Guinn drove away from them again and continued south onto the Gulf Freeway. He allegedly avoided a spike strip set out by several officers assisting in the pursuit. Police say Guinn drove the wrong way down the feeder road, nearly crashing into several oncoming vehicles. The 50-year-old came to a stop at Highway 96. Officers say he refused to participate in testing to determine his blood alcohol concentration. Guinn was taken to an area medical facility for a mandatory blood draw because he allegedly has three prior DWI convictions. Police say Guinn was also wanted on a warrant for violating probation, which allegedly stems from a previous incident in which he tried to evade arrest.

FRAUD:
Dec. 15: A woman reported unauthorized use of her debit card information at various locations in Houston.

Dec. 17: A woman reported her debit card number had been used to make online purchases without her permission.

Dec. 18: A man reported several checks using information from his bank account may have been passed at various locations in East Texas.

THEFT:
Dec. 15, 11:28 a.m.: A CB radio antenna was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at O'Reilly's, 105 W. Edgewood.

VANDALISM:
Dec. 18, 10:29 a.m.: Profanity was discovered painted on the walls of a restroom at Centennial Park, 2200 S. Friendswood Drive.
