HS girls basketball: Clear Lake defeats Brazoswood
The Clear Lake Falcons (6-2) defeated the Brazoswood Buccaneers (4-5) 57-39 Monday in girls basketball.
The Falcons 34-16 halftime lead proved to hold as each team scored 23 points during the second half.
Clear Lake’s Alex Kochner and Victoria Sutherland each scored 12 points to lead all players in scoring.
Kochner and Sutherland are combining for more than 28 points of offense per game this season for the Falcons.
Clear Lake seniors Margaret Ideler and Libby Moreno each scored 10 points during the victory.
Brazoswood was led in scoring by Stephanie Gaona and Madison Williams who each scored 10 points in defeat.
