HS boys basketball: Clear Lake defeats Memorial
The Clear Lake Falcons (7-6) crushed the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (7-7) 86-50 Friday in boys basketball.
Clear Lake had the game in hand at half with a 43-20 lead and ensured the blowout outscoring Memorial 43-30 during the second half.
Falcons' sophomore guard Paris Clayton led all players in scoring with 21 points and leads the team with a 17.1 point per game scoring average.
Robert Lewis, Kris Henderson, Pace Richardson and Gabe Labespere each contributed 10 points in scoring to the victory.
Six-foot, 6-inch junior forward Allan Grace led Memorial in scoring with 12 points and Justin Durbin scored 10 points during defeat.
