Friendswood Police Department blotter, Dec. 16

The Friendswood Police Department reported the following incidents between Dec. 15 and the early hours of Dec. 16:

BURGLARY:
Dec. 8, 3:20 p.m.: Electronic game components, a television and DVD player were reported stolen from a home in the 5300 block of Abercreek in Wedgewood subdivision. The homeowner reported the front door and a window were opened to allow access into the house sometime between 1:20 p.m. and 3:20 p.m.

Dec. 10, 7:46 a.m.: A GPS unit and an iPod were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 16400 block of Hibiscus in Wedgewood subdivision.

Dec. 11, 6:14 p.m.: Steven Chitty, 27, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of burglary. Chitty allegedly admitted to entering the home of an acquaintance in the 800 block of Lockmoor in Whitehall subdivision. Chitty is accused of stealing two televisions, a ladder and several other items.

Dec. 14, 3:40 p.m. A homeowner reported several televisions, electronic games and an Arminius revolver were stolen from his house in the 5000 block of Appleblossom in Wedgewood subdivision. The homeowner reported a door was forced open to gain entry sometime between 5:45 a.m. and 3:40 p.m.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT:
Dec. 13, 11:39 p.m.: Robbie Sue McCarroll, 53, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of assault causing bodily injury. She is accused of being involved in a physical altercation with a relative in the 700 block of Quaker.

Dec. 12, 11:49 p.m.: Joshua Leeper, 26, of Friendswood, was arrested on charges of injury to an elderly person and theft of service in the 500 block of Meadow Bend Drive in The Forest subdivision. He is accused of pushing his grandparent and causing a minor arm injury. Leeper had allegedly taken a taxi to his grandparent’s home but had no money to pay for the ride.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED:
Dec. 9, 1:48 a.m.: Jeffery Watson, 38, of Rosharon, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 400 block of East Parkwood. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Dec. 10, 7:50 p.m.: Tricia Lemmon, 25, of Deer Park, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 16800 block of Townes Road. She allegedly failed a field sobriety test and registered .152 on a breath test.

Dec. 11, 12:01 a.m.: Devon McLarty, 22, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 3700 block of Townes Forest. He is accused of driving at a high rate of speed. McLarty allegedly failed a field sobriety test before being taken to a medical facility for a mandatory blood draw to determine his blood alcohol concentration.

Dec. 12 1:45 a.m.: Kara Kirkpatrick, 22, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 200 block of East Parkwood. She is accused of weaving between lanes of traffic. Kirkpatrick allegedly failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Dec. 12, 2:13 a.m.: Shahram Roudbari, 44, of Manvel, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 2000 block of West Parkwood. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Dec. 14, 2:46 a.m.: Leticia Cruz, 36, of Alvin, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 1400 block of Moore Road. She allegedly failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

DRUGS:
Dec. 12, 1:18 a.m.: Kristofer Kovalchuk, 17, of Rosharon, was arrested on a possession of marijuana charge. He was allegedly loitering in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station, 2255 W. Parkwood, after hours. When officers stopped to talk with Kovalchuk, he allegedly admitted to having pot in his possession.

Dec. 13, 11:03 p.m.: Matthew Greagrey, 21, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of tampering with physical evidence. He allegedly admitted to swallowing three Xanax pills after he realized an officer was stopping him for a traffic violation in the 16900 block of Blackhawk. Greagery was evaluated by Friendswood EMS but refused transport to a hospital.

INTERFERING WITH POLICE:
Dec. 11, 12:43 a.m: Shane Shields, 24, of Friendswood, was arrested on a charge of interference with the duties of a public servant during a traffic stop in the 17000 block of Tibet. As the officer attempted to stop Shields, the suspect allegedly displayed a profane hand gesture before stopping his vehicle. He allegedly continued to refuse to follow the officer's commands until he was taken into custody.
