GED program holds graduation today in Seabrook
The Harris County Youth Village graduated 28 students from its Vocational Education Program today.
The Vocational Education Program at the Harris County Youth Village offers students the opportunity to earn their GEDs during a 12-week program taught by San Jacinto College professors.
John Sage, founder and executive director of Bridges to Life, spoke at the graduation, which took place at 1 p.m. at the Harris County Youth Village Gymnasium in Seabrook.
The Harris County Youth Village has the highest GED pass rate for a juvenile detention facility in the state of Texas.
