Car stolen with repo man's equipment inside in Friendswood

The Friendswood Police Department reported on Dec. 12 that a car belonging to a repo man was stolen from his home.

On Dec. 12 at 7:10 a.m., Friendswood resident Eric Leon Brumfield reported that his 1996 gray Ford Explorer, valued at $2,000, was stolen. The vehicle was left unlocked overnight in his driveway in the 5200 block of Shady Oaks Lane with the key inside.

In a cruel twist of fate, Brumfield, a repo man, had also left inside the vehicle his break-in kit, including a set of papers naming the drivers of cars to be repossessed.
