Kemah-Bay Area gardeners plan daylily program
The Kemah-Bay Area Garden Club will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 9:30 a.m.
The meeting will feature a talk on daylilies presented by Nell Shimek, co-owner of Shimek’s Gardens, an American Hemerocallis Society National Display site in Alvin.
Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited.
The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Jimmie Walker Community Center, located at 800 Harris Ave. in Kemah.
The Garden Club meets the first Wednesday of each month and welcomes visitors to meetings. Call Anniece Larkins at 281-842-9008 for further information.
