Webster police arrest Houston woman on prostitution charge

A Houston woman is charged with prostitution after allegedly propositioning a man for sex at a Webster motel.

According to the Webster police report, an officer saw a woman be dropped off and then walk into a room at the Motel 6 on West Nasa Parkway early Monday morning. About an hour later, at 3:50 a.m., the officer says the woman left the motel room with a man.

The officer went to speak to the two people and determined that the woman, later identified as Courtnei Busby, 22, of Houston, had propositioned the 36-year-old man for sex. Investigators say Busby offered the man $250 in exchange for sexual intercourse.

Webster police took Busby into custody and took her to the Webster City Jail where she was booked on a charge of prostitution.
