Clear Lake Methodist church re-creates Bethlehem, offers Advent events
The members of Clear Lake United Methodist Church will take on the
roles of hundreds of residents of Bethlehem this weekend in
celebration of Advent. The church's Bethlehem village will include
Roman centurions, Bedouins, potters, basket weavers, and a variety of
animals. Admission to the event at 16335 El Camino Real in Houston
costs $1. The village will be open from 6-8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, 12 and
13.
The church will also collect toys for Interfaith Caring Ministries on
Dec. 12 and gather for caroling in the church parking lot at 5 p.m. on
Dec. 19.
