Methodist church offers support groups for grieving, Alzheimer's caregivers
The Clear Lake United Methodist Church is offering two
non-denominational support groups for people dealing with difficult
situations.
The GriefShare Support Group, which meets in the Flanders 423 room of
the church at 6 p.m. each Sunday, features a biblical perspective on
grief and recovery. For more information contact Rev. Harold Travis at
281-488-5110 or harold@clearlakemethodist.org.
The Alzheimer's Caregivers Support meets Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. in the
Elrod 311 room. The group is designed to be a forum in which people
who have firsthand knowledge of Alzheimer's can share their
experiences. Anyone who is caring for a person with Alzheimer's is
invited, no fee or registration required. For more information contact
Betty Flanders at 281-488-5111, x114.
The Clear Lake United Methodist Church is located at 16335 El Camino
