League City Historical Society to hold tour of homes on Saturday
Six historic locations will be featured at the annual League City Historic Homes Tour, which will take place on Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m.
Featured on the tour are Old St. Mary Church, located 620 E. Main St., which is celebrating its 100-year anniversary; the city’s original one-room schoolhouse, which has been restored into the West Bay Common School Children’s Museum, located at 210 N. Kansas Ave.; and the 115-year-old Johnson-Lothrop Home, located at 1512 E. Walker St.
Also included are visits to the Dow Home, at 320 N. Kansas Ave.; the Ferrell Home, located at 620 Third St.; and the Dibrell-Coons Home, at 720 Third St.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 on the day of the event. Tickets may be purchased at Book Haven at 104 N. Michigan, Park Avenue Showplace at 447 S. Highway 3, Nana’s Attic at Founders Square at 501 E. Main, Butler Longhorn Museum at 1220 Coryell St. and the League City Chamber of Commerce at 260 Park Ave.
