Armand Bayou Nature Center announces holiday events
The Armand Bayou Nature Center is hosting a series of events this holiday season designed for adults and children to explore the outdoors.
On Dec. 4, a guided nature photography hike will take place on the Nature Center trails from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., led by an expert photographer.
On Dec. 11, Dr. David McDonald will give a talk on the winter birds of the Upper Texas Coast as part of its "A Season for Birds" event, beginning at 10 a.m. Guided birding hikes and special activities for children will also be available.
For children, the Nature Center is offering a winter eco-camp from Dec. 21 through Dec. 23, and Dec. 28 through Dec. 30.
The Nature Center is also collecting non-perishable foods for a local food bank until Dec. 9.
