Clear Springs guard heading to Connecticut
Six-foot, 6-inch Clear Springs guard Teris Bourgeois has given a verbal commitment to Central Connecticut State University (CCSU).
"Central Connecticut was a place that I just really liked," Bourgeois commented. "They showed me the most love and I liked the way the players all hung out with each other and showed me what a tight group they were on my visit. Committing just felt like the right thing to do."
The two-time all-district selection averaged more than 15 points and dished out four assists per game for Clear Springs last season.
Bourgeois was also recruited by Bradley, Stephen F. Austin and San Jose State University.
Bourgeois and the rest of the Clear Springs Chargers host Friendswood Monday at 7 p.m.
