Runners take their marks for Friendswood Holiday Hustle
The City of Friendswood Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual “Holiday Hustle” on Saturday in Stevenson Park, 1100 S. Friendswood Drive.
The Holiday Hustle 5K Fun Run/Walk and Kid's K is sponsored by Alton Todd Law Firm, Calvary Chapel, Clear Lake Infiniti and Star Toyota. The event benefits the Laura Recovery Center Foundation in Friendswood, which aids the families of missing children.
The Kid's K Fun Run for children 12 and under will begin at 8 a.m. The 5K Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:15 a.m. and is open to all ages.
Trophies will be awarded to the top female and male runners in each age group and to the top overall male and female finishers. Each walker and Kid's K participant will receive a ribbon.
Cost of the event is $10 for the Kid's K and $20 for the 5K.
