"The Nutcracker" coming to Webster
The Kennedy Dance Theatre company will present "The Nutcracker" on Dec. 18 at the University of Houston Clear Lake's Bayou Theatre.
The popular holiday ballet will be choreographed by KDT's internationally acclaimed choreographer Milena Leben.
Brianna Dowling will portray the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cherilene Guzman will play Clara.
The performances also include a special "Rock 'N' Roll Christmas" by KDT performing groups and a surprise visit from Santa Claus.
Clara's Closet Christmas Market also will be open, offering patrons a chance for holiday shopping.
Performances run at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.
