League City woman charged with driving while intoxicated
The Webster Police Department charged a woman with driving while intoxicated on Sunday at 2:06 p.m.
Officers J.G. Lester responded to a possible intoxicated driver in a 2006 Cadillac Escalade at SH 3 Highway and Bay Area Blvd. While in route, the officer was advised that the vehicle struck another vehicle at the intersection.
Upon arrival, the officer made contact with suspect, Peggy Sundown, 52, of League City and learned she was under the influence of drugs.
Sundown was subsequently arrested and charged.
